We Are Back!

Here we go again! After a nine month break from cruising the crew of "the Bles-sing!" is back on board and moving up the east coast. We have completed about 75% of our journey and look forward to going  about 1,500 miles where we will cross our wake in Lake Michigan before travelling another 600 miles to our ole Kentucky home at Lake Barkley around September 1st.  There are multiple routes as options from this point. You can see our path below outlined by the blue arrows.

The crew includes Tom and Regina for the first part of trip - great to have them on board! We left Baltimore Harbor on Thursday 5/5 and made about 65 miles to Summit North Marina on the C&D Canal that connects Chesapeake Bay with Delaware Bay. Yesterday we travelled the entire length of Delaware Bay down to Cape May New Jersey, another 60 miles. We are snuggled into our slip at Canyon Club Marina riding out some vicious winds (up to 60 miles per hour) for the next several days. The next part of our trip will take us out into the Atlantic Ocean so we will be very patient and wait for calm seas. Probably a week or so until we are able to move again.
