And we are off! Finally!

 The Christmas Birthday Cruise

In keeping with our tradition this leg is named for Tom who has a December birthday.

Day 1. The problem muffler cost us another half day but we finally departed Saunders Marina in Gulf Shores at 11:50. We went 28 miles in very chilly but sunny conditions and saw a bunch of dolphins along the way.  We had a great cruise on calm waters settling into our anchorage in English Navy Cove on Pensacola Bay around 3:20. Pretty strong winds and lapping waves were with us all night!
